Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 14, 2026
This policy explains what cookies Fluxhive uses, why we use them, and how you can control them when visiting fluxhive.app.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as login status or language) over a period of time, so you do not have to keep re-entering them whenever you return to the site or navigate between pages.
Cookies can be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain on your device for a set period or until manually deleted). They may be set by Fluxhive directly ("first-party cookies") or by third-party services we use ("third-party cookies").
2. Cookies We Use
2.1 Essential Cookies (Cannot Be Disabled)
These cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function. Without them, core features such as authentication and preference storage will not work. They cannot be opted out of while using Fluxhive.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|
| sb-access-token | Authenticates your session with Supabase — keeps you logged in | 7 days | Essential |
| sb-refresh-token | Silently refreshes your authentication session without requiring re-login | 30 days | Essential |
| cookie-consent | Stores your cookie preference so the banner does not reappear | 1 year | Essential |
2.2 Analytics Cookies (Optional)
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with the platform — which pages are most visited, how long sessions last, and where visitors come from. This data is aggregated and anonymized. These cookies are optional and can be disabled via your browser or the cookie preference banner.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes unique visitors for Google Analytics traffic analysis | 2 years | Analytics |
| _ga_* | Maintains Google Analytics GA4 session tracking state | 2 years | Analytics |
You can opt out of Google Analytics at any time by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
3. Third-Party Cookies
When you initiate a checkout, Stripe — our payment processor — sets cookies on your device to help prevent fraud and improve payment security. These cookies are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|
| __stripe_mid | Stripe fraud detection — identifies the browser across sessions | 1 year | Third-Party |
| __stripe_sid | Stripe fraud detection — identifies the browser within a session | 30 minutes | Third-Party |
4. Managing Cookie Preferences
4.1 Cookie Consent Banner
When you first visit Fluxhive, you will see a cookie consent banner. You can use it to accept all cookies or decline optional (analytics) cookies. You can revisit your preferences at any time via the cookie settings link in the site footer. Your choice is saved in the cookie-consent cookie and will persist for one year.
4.2 Browser-Level Controls
All major browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through their settings menus. Instructions for common browsers:
Google Chrome
Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. You can block third-party cookies or clear all cookies for a specific site.
Chrome cookie help →Safari
Safari → Preferences (or Settings on iOS) → Privacy → Manage Website Data. You can block all cookies or remove cookies for individual sites.
Safari cookie help →Mozilla Firefox
Menu → Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. Choose Standard, Strict, or Custom cookie blocking and clear saved cookies.
Firefox cookie help →5. Impact of Disabling Cookies
Warning: Disabling essential cookies will significantly impair your ability to use Fluxhive.
Depending on which cookies you disable, the following issues may occur:
sb-access-token / sb-refresh-token
You will not be able to stay logged in. Every page navigation may log you out, and you will lose access to your account, purchase history, and downloads.
cookie-consent
The cookie consent banner will reappear on every visit because your preference cannot be saved.
_ga / _ga_*
Google Analytics will not track your session. This has no functional impact on your use of the platform — all features continue to work normally.
__stripe_mid / __stripe_sid
Stripe fraud detection is impaired. Your payment may be declined by Stripe's risk engine even with valid card details.
6. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as we add new features, integrate new services, or respond to regulatory changes. When we update it, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- Post the revised policy at fluxhive.app/cookie-policy
- For material changes, notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect
Continued use of the platform after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Cookie Policy.
